Common Admission Test
CAT 2018 - IIM Calcutta has released the CAT 2018 application form on August 8 in online mode. The Common Admission Test (CAT) is the most competitive MBA entrance exam of India taken by around 2 lakh candidates every year. IIMs conduct CAT on a rotational basis every year for admission to 20 IIMs and over 100 B-schools across India. Around 4,000 seats are offered through the 20 IIMs. CAT 2018 score card will be valid only for one year until December 31, 2019.
The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct computer-based Common Admission Test 2018 (CAT 2018) on 25 th November, 2018 in two sessions.

Eligibility Criteria : As per the eligibility criteria of CAT 2018, candidates should fulfil the following parameters:
1). Candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised University or Institute.
2). General and OBC-NC category candidates should obtain at least 50 percent marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA. For reserved category candidates, the minimum percentage to secure is 45.
3). The duration of the graduation programme should be minimum 3 years.
4). Final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for CAT 2018 provided they complete their programme within the stipulated schedule.
Age Limit : There is no age limit for applying or appearing in CAT exam.
Registration Fees :

Exam Pattern : According to the exam pattern of CAT 2018, it's a computer based test of 3 hours duration carrying 100 objective type multiple choice and non-multiple choice type questions.
